John (from weather.lissproductions.com) suggested we upgrade to that latest version of code. We downloaded version 13.01P09 from their website and installed it on our weather server. Soon after the upgrade we saw VWS collecting data. I was unhappy to learn that we lost 2 months of data by converting from Weatherlink to VWS. Oh well.
After spending some time revisiting both pieces of software we choose Virtual Weather Station (VWS). VWS appears to have the best looking graphs and a large community of users to draw from. The software has been installed, but we’re having trouble getting it to collect data. No time to search the forums for the solution, will take a look at it tomorrow.
We’ve been collecting data using Davis’ Weatherlink software that came with the data logger. The software has a complex interface. Performance is clunky and images are less then desireable. I have started looking at Virtual Weather and Weather Display.
